Thoracentesis and Paracentesis Sets
The thoracentesis and paracentesis sets are designed to retrieve liquids from the peritoneum and pleural cavity, safely and effectively. These sterile, single-use products are dedicated to removing any pathological fluids from the pleural or peritoneal cavities.
Available configurations:
- Set with 3 needles and a non-return valve or 3-way faucet
- Set with a Verres needle and a non-return valve or 3-way faucet
- Set with a soft catheter and non-return valve
The sharp needles included in the sets easily penetrate the abdominal or thoracic wall, allowing for efficient drainage.
Using a Verres needle increases the patient’s safety during the procedure.
Each set includes a large collection bag that enables secure storage of aspirated fluids through either a three-way stopcock or a non-return valve.
Every movement of the syringe piston reduces the volume of fluids in the patient’s body, transferring them directly to the collection bag.
The bag tap allows for convenient disposal of the aspirated liquid after the procedure. All sets are disposable and sterilized with ethylene oxide (EO), ensuring complete hygiene and patient safety.
